Meet your teacher

Hi, I’m Natalia Polianskaia

I’m a yoga teacher, the creator of Yogactivelife online yoga studio, and the author of yoga and Ayurveda books.

For me, yoga is not only a practice on the mat — it is a way to feel more connected, balanced, strong, and present in everyday life. I also practice surfing, snowboarding, and other sports, so I know how important it is to have a body that is not only flexible, but also stable, coordinated, responsive, and strong.

Yoga helps me build a deeper connection between body and mind, improve balance and coordination, release tension, recover after physical activity, and move with more freedom and confidence.

My approach is gentle, mindful, and practical. I do not believe in forcing the body or chasing perfect shapes. I believe in listening to yourself, breathing consciously, moving with awareness, and creating a practice that supports your real life.

A few important notes

Are the practices originally in English?

No. The original videos were recorded in Russian and translated into English for this course. This is the first experimental English version of Yogactivelife practices.

Is the translation perfect?

The translation may not be perfect, but every practice was selected and prepared with care. Step by step, new practices will be recorded directly in English.

Do I have to follow the lessons in order?

You can move step by step or choose a class depending on your current state: energy, calm, stiffness, stress, strength, mobility or relaxation.

How long are the practices?

The practices are up to 35 minutes, so they are easy to include in your morning, evening or weekly routine.

What do I need for practice?

A yoga mat and comfortable clothes are enough. For restorative practices, you may also use pillows, blankets or yoga blocks for support.
